Kesuvos 45

1) [line 4] SARCHAH - if she sinned
2) [line 5] KOL HEICHA D'ISHTENI GUFA, ISHNTENI KETALA - whenever one's body experiences a physical change, one's death penalty changes (e.g. since she was a Na'arah when she sinned and she becomes a Bogeres before she was brought to Beis Din, her death penalty changes from Sekilah to Chenek)

3) [line 9] MAKDIMIN L'VEIS HA'SEKILAH - (a) we take them *immediately* to the Beis ha'Sekilah (they cannot avoid this punishment) (RASHI); (b) we *preferentially* bring them to the Beis ha'Sekilah, rather than any other punishment (TOSFOS MAKOS 2a)

4) [line 16] DILMA KI CHADIS RACHMANA - perhaps the Torah tells us this novel law

5a) [line 20] CHAT'U AD SHE'LO NISMANU - if a Nasi (king) or Kohen Gadol sinned before they were appointed to their position

b) [line 20] CHAT'U (SE'IR NASI / PAR KOHEN MASHI'ACH)
(a) The Chatas Nasi is the male goat brought by a king as a Korban Chatas and the Par Kohen Mashi'ach is the young bull brought by a Kohen Gadol as a Korban Chatas when they transgress an Isur Kares thinking that the Torah did not prohibit such an act. (The goat and bull are brought for the same sins that a Par He'elem Davar is brought when the people commit transgressions upon being misled by Beis Din in a Halachic matter.)
(b) Some of the blood of the goat is applied to the four Keranos (protruding corners) of the Mizbe'ach ha'Chitzon and the Sheyarei ha'Dam (the remainder of the blood) is poured on the Southern Yesod (foundation) of the Mizbe'ach. The Eimurim (see Background to Yevamos 7:8) of the goat are offered on the Mizbe'ach. The meat is eaten by male Kohanim on the day that the Korban is offered and the on the following night.
(c) The blood of the bull is sprinkled seven times on the Paroches, and is applied to the Keranos (raised corners) of the Mizbach ha'Zahav in the Heichal. The Sheyarei ha'Dam is poured on the Western Yesod of the Mizbe'ach while the Eimurim are offered on the Mizbe'ach ha'Chitzon.
(d) The meat of the bull, together with the other parts that are not sacrificed, is burned outside of the city of Yerushalayim (Vayikra 4:3-12). Those Kohanim who carry the carcass out of the Azarah are Metamei Begadim. (According to Rebbi Shimon, Yoma 67b, those who are involved in burning the meat are Metamei Begadim.)

6) [line 3] LAISEI KORBAN KI D'HASHTA? - let them bring the Korban that they would have been obligated to bring [had they sinned] now?

7) [line 4] HA'AMAR LEI REBBI YOCHANAN L'TANA, "TANI, TIDON BI'SEKILAH" - (a) and there are only *two* Midos b'Na'arah in the Beraisa quoted by Shila, and not three (MAHARAM SHIF); (b) and in the case of Sarchah ul'Vasof Bagrah, Tidon b'Sekilah, the woman is put to death in the Beis ha'Sekilah, and not at Pesach Beis Aviha or Pesah Sha'ar ha'Ir (SHITAH MEKUBETZES, RAMBAM Hilchos Isurei Bi'ah 3:9)

8) [line 10] RACHMANA NITZLAN ME'HAI DA'ATA! - The Merciful One should save us from that (your) opinion!

9) [line 14] AKIMAS SEFASAV - (lit. curving of the lips) his false testimony
10) [line 15] KESHE'HI ZANA'I - when she had illicit marital relations
11) [line 32] HA APIKTEI - you have already learned something from it?

12) [last line] MAKAS MARDUS
Beis Din has the power to inflict lashes upon a person when lashes mid'Oraisa cannot be instituted. These lashes are called Makas Mardus (lit. lashes for rebelliousness) and may be unlimited in number. (See Insights to Chulin 110:1 for a discussion of the various opinions regarding how Makas Mardus is administered.)
