Nidah 72

***************GIRSA SECTION********************
We recommend using the textual changes suggested by the Bach, Rav B. Rensburg and the parenthetical marginal notes of the Vilna Shas. This section is devoted to any *OTHER* changes that we feel ought to be made in Gemara, Rashi or Tosfos.)

[1] Rashi 72a DH Amar Rav Huna, Mishkavos:
The words "l'Veis Shamai d'Machmiri"
should be "Beis Shamai Machmiri"
************************************************

1) [line 4] GARGERAN - glutton, sinful person
2) [line 7] TARBUS RA'AH - deplorable conduct
3) [line 20] HASHVU MIDOSEICHEM - you should be consistent in your rulings
4) [line 24] MI'DIVREICHEM ATEM NOSHCHIM - you are contradicted by your own words

5) [line 43] ZOV -
Zov is a clear discharge with the appearance of the white of a sterile or spoiled egg, in contrast with semen, which has the consistency of fresh egg white. Zov can also be a pus-like discharge resembling the liquid from barley dough or soft barley batter.
The Halachah is that a Zav who emitted Zov twice or three times does not become Tahor from his Zivah until 7 "clean" days pass, during which he does not emit any Zov. He is supposed to check himself twice every day; once in the morning and once towards evening. If he emits Zov during those days, he must begin his count all over again (Rambam, Hil. Mechusrei Kaparah 3:1).

6) [last line] BA'AL KERI
A men who has emitted Keri (semen) needs to immerse in a Mikvah. After his immersion he may eat Ma'aser. He only becomes Tahor to eat Terumah at nightfall.

72b---------------------------------------72b

7) [line 29] CHATZI LOG SHEMEN L'SODAH
Forty loaves were brought with the Korban Todah, ten of which were Chametz and thirty of them were Matzah. The thirty Matzos were made in three different ways: ten called Soles Murbeches Chalos, ten called Chalos Matzos and ten called Rekikin. Only half a Log of olive oil was used for all thirty Matzos: a quarter of a Log for the Soles Murbeches Chalos, an eighth for the Chalos Matzos and an eighth for the Rekikin. (Gemara Menachos 89a, Rambam Hilchos Ma'asei ha'Korbanos 9:20)

8) [line 29] REVI'IS YAYIN L'NAZIR
It is forbidden for a Nazir to drink wine made from grapes (Bamidbar 6:3). If a Nazir transgresses and drinks a Revi'is of wine he receives Malkos. (Sefer ha'Chinuch #368)

9a) [line 31] HALACHAH ACHAD ASAR - a Halachah of the eleventh day
b) [line 32] HILCHOS ACHAD ASAR - two Halachos of the eleventh day
*10*) [line 39] "ISHAH KI SIHEYEH ZAVAH, DAM YIHEYEH ZOVAH" - This verse is dealing with a Nidah, not a Zavah
