Nidah Chart #5

Nidah Daf 28b

WHAT IS LEARNED FROM THE VERSE
"V'CHOL TAMEI LA'NEFESH MI'ZACHAR AD NEKEIVAH TISHALEICHU"
(A)
HAD THE VERSE SAID
(C)
WE WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD IT TO MEAN
"*ADAM* TISHALEICHU" All *articles* which are Tamei are permitted in the Azarah
also "*KOL* TAMEI LA'NEFESH" (a) Gemara's initial suggestion: even Tamei *articles* may not be brought in the Mikdash
(b) Gemara's conclusion: Zavim are not punished for entering the Mikdash when a Korban Pesach is being brought b'Tumah (Tosfos DH Ad Kol Davar, based on Pesachim 66b)
"*ZACHAR U'NEKEIVAH* TESHALEICHU" Tumtum v'Androginus are not punished for entering the Mikdash while Tamei due to Zivah or Nidah
"ZACHAR *AD* NEKEIVAH TESHALEICHU" Even Tamei *articles* (aside from Klei Cheres) may not be brought into the Mikdash
"*MI'ZACHAR* AD NEKEIVAH"
(as it indeed says)
Tumtum v'Androginus are punished for entering the Mikdash while Tamei due to *other* types of Tumah
