FOOTNOTES:
==========
(a) Tevilah is required at night after the Yemei Tum'as Leidah. Each day may be the last of her Yemei Tumah.

(b) She may have given birth while she was a Zavah. The Shiv'ah Nekiyim only start after the Yemei Tum'ah, even if she sees no blood during the Yemei Tum'ah. Tevilah for a Zavah takes place during the day.

(c) Beis Shamai require Tevilah at night at the end of the Yemei Taharah. Any day, from day one until day eighty, may be the last day of the Yemei Taharah. However, until the third week, and during weeks 5,7,9 and 11, she needed Tevilah for other reasons, anyway.

(d) Since she came during Bein ha'Shemashos, that day may have been the last day of her Yemei Tum'ah. She immerses that night. RASHI explains that Beis Hillel does not count this Tevilah since it is the only Tevilah of the week.
(TOSFOS claims that Beis Hillel count eight Tevilos during the first week, also. They don't count the Tevilah on the night after the fourteenth day, since it is the only night Tevilah of that week.)

(e) On the first night of the week, she may have completed seven days of Nidus, and she performs Tevilah that night. On the second night, we consider that she may have completed the Yemei Tohar on the first night of the previous week. The second night of *that* week may have been the onset of Nidus, and the seven days end on the second day of *this* week. This pattern continues all week, requiring Tevilah every night for seven nights.

(f) If she saw blood on the day before she came, the first day without blood she is Shomeres Yom k'Neged Yom, and she is Tovel during the day. Since she came during Bein ha'Shemashos, which may be Halachic night, and she may have seen blood immediately beforehand, she must consider the second day as the first bloodless day when she can be Shomeres Yom k'Neged Yom.

(g) We consider that she may have been a Zavah Gedolah. She is Tovel on the seventh day of the week, after having waited Shiv'ah Nekiyim. These Tevilos are not counted since they only deal with a Zavah and not with a Yoledes.

(h) Same as (e), but the Tevilos end on the third night, since there is no doubt that the Yemei Tohar ended after the eightieth day. Even though she saw blood for the rest of the twelfth week, her Tevilah is still on the third night of the thirteenth week. These Tevilos are not counted because they take place after the Yemei Tohar have ended.

(i) These Tevilos are not counted since Beis Hillel does not count Tevilos that occur after the Tashmish (on the 35th night).

(j) The last night of this week is the only night that Tashmish is permitted.
