Pesachim 106

PESACHIM 106 - dedicated by Uri Wolfson in honor of his Chavrusa, Rav Mordechai Rabin of Har Nof.

1) [line 6] CHATZBA PEGIMA - (lit. a damaged pitcher) a pitcher of wine, the contents of which have already been used

2) [line 7] KASA PEGIMA - (lit. a damaged cup) a cup of wine, the contents of which have already been used

3) [line 8] CHAVISA PEGIMTA - (lit. a damaged jug) a small jug of wine, the contents of which have already been used

4) [line 20] KIDUSHA RABAH - (lit. the Great Kidush) (a) the Berachah of Borei Pri ha'Gefen, which is called Kidusha Rabah since it accompanies all recitations of Kidush (RASHI, RASHBAM); (b) the Kidush recited on Shabbos day, called "the Great Kidush" as a euphemism, since its requirement is only mid'Rabanan and it consists only of the Berachah of Borei Pri ha'Gefen (MISHNAH BERURAH 289:3, quoting the RAN and the MAGID MISHNAH Hilchos Shabbos 29:10)

5) [line 22] V'AGID BAH - and he prolonged the end of his Berachah
6) [line 23] D'GACHIN V'SHASI - (a) who bent over and drank (TOSFOS DH Havah); (b) who bent over to drink, i.e. he stretched out his hand to take the cup in his hand, but waited for Rav Ashi to drink before he drank (see Rosh 10:16)
