(a) Question: What is Afikoman?
(b) Answer [Rav]: That one must not move to another Chaburah [to eat anything] after eating the Pesach.
(c) Answer [Shmuel and supported by others]: Any desert after the Pesach.
(d) [Shmuel] The same restriction applies to the Matzah which we eat at the end of the meal.
(e) Question: But the Mishnah implies that the restriction does not apply after Matzah!?
(f) Answer: If Matzah had been taught, we might have been lenient regarding the Pesach (which leaves a stronger flavor).
(g) The Bereisa seems to support Shmuel (the pastries may be eaten, provided the Matzah follows).
(h) No, the Bereisa could be understood as "not only are the pastries permitted if the Matzah is eaten first, but even if the Matzah is left to be eaten last."
