PREVIOUSLY PRESENTED
- February '03/Shevat-Adar I 5763

Material in this series has previously been presented in public; in lectures, courses, workshops, on radio broadcasts, in my catalog of Torah Tapes, and in published articles.

The material derives from about twenty five years of research and work experience. Some derives from practical experience counseling individuals and couples. Some comes from interviewing mature, successful and happily married "veterans" - as well as miserably divorced "veterans." Some comes from consulting with marriage counselors, rabbis who deal with troubled marriages and divorce and who decide practical laws on relationship and marriage questions, dayonim (Torah judges) who adjudicate divorces and witness marital degeneration, social workers and psychologists. Some comes from matchmaking, wherein I see singles in various forms of relationship dynamics and behavior (which grows into marriage, or which falls with a splat). Some comes from people asking me personal, emotion-laden questions, after a presentation or in my role as a rabbi.

Public presentations have been made at various locations in the United States, including: Lincoln Square Synagogue, New York City; Congregation Ohab Zedek, New York City: Rebitzen Esther Jungreis' Hineni Heritage Center, New York City; Sephardic Education Center, New York City; Kehilath Jacob (the "Carlebach Shul"), New York City; Young Adults Division of the Young Israel of Flatbush, Brooklyn; K'hal B'nei Yisrael Learning & Outreach Center of Borough Park, Brooklyn; Flatbush Park Jewish Center, Brooklyn; Sephardic Community Center, Brooklyn; Kings Bay YMHA, Brooklyn; The "Flatbush Minyan," Brooklyn; Bay Ridge Jewish Center, Brooklyn; Havurat Yisrael, Queens NY; Chabad-Lubavitch Of the Five Towns, Cedarhurst Long Island NY; Etz Chaim Torah Center, Philadelphia PA; Tamiment Lodge, Tamiment PA (Pocono Mountains); Brown's Resort Hotel (Catskills); Jewish Educational Center, Elizabeth NJ; Ruach Shabatones ('93 and '94 - separate upstate NY locations); Agudath Shalom, Stamford CT. Many presentations have been made under private auspices such as at sheva brachos (post-wedding celebrations for the seven days after a Jewish wedding) and for private learning groups (in homes).
