Some Biographical Information about Eliezer Shore: I was born in New York and raised on Long Island. I attended Sarah Lawrence College and graduated in 1982 with a degree in Comparative Religion. In my early twenties I became intensely involved in the spiritual pursuit and spent much time meditating, camping, etc.. At twenty-three, I began to return to my own spiritual roots: Judaism. I was especially drawn to Hasidic teachings, and studied for years with many special teachers. I have been studying Torah in yeshivot in New York and Israel for close to fifteen years, and have received rabbinic ordination. At present, I live in Jerusalem and teach Jewish thought in a yeshiva (by the name of Yeshivat Bat Ayin--coincidentally). Besides writing essays, I am also a storyteller, and write both original tales, as well as retell old ones. Many of my article have appeared in Parabola magazine, and my stories have appeared in collections.
Bas Ayin has won the approval of numerous rabbis in both America and Israel. Below
