Chapter 310 Section 7

If an object is muktza because of ‘chisoron kis’ [loss of money], for which the law says it cannot be moved at all, it’s basis [base] also cannot be moved at all.

A pocket book which is used only for money is muktza and cannot be moved at all as it is muktza ‘machmas gufo’ [not as a utensil]. If the pocket book is used for other things like tissues, it is a utensil that is muktza but not machmas gufo as it is a utensil used also for permissable items.

Chapter 310 Section 8-9

If there is non-muktza together with muktza on a object, if the non-muktza is worth more then the muktza, the object underneath is not considered a basis [base] for the muktza.
