After the first day of Yom Tov, the cohanim went to the Erzras Nashim where a great improvement was once done. The great improvement was that they made a gallery for the women so they should be separate.

They had a golden candelabra and 4 bowls on top of them. They had 4 ladders for each and the young cohanim would climb up with jugs of oil. They put 120 lugs of oil in each bowl.

They would use material from worn out cohanim pants and belts for wicks. The light was so great that all the streets of Yerushalayim could see by this light.
