Beitzah 3:8

You can tell your friend to fill up a utensil of meat as long as you don’t say a specific measurement. [This is not included in the prohibition of selling on Yom Tov.] R’ Yehudav says if it is a measuring utensil, you cannot do it.

There was a story with Abba Shaul ben Batnis describing how he used to fill jugs before Yom Tov and give them to buyers on Yom Tov. Abba Shaul says he did this even for Chol Hamoed to make sure he got the measure correct. The chachamim say even for the weekdays, he drained out his pots all night into buyers pots to get every drop out.

A person can go to his regular store and say, ‘Give me eggs’, even specifying an exact amount as eggs are things that are counted in homes not necessarily for the purpose of selling.

Beitzah 4:1

If you are bringing wine jugs from place to place, don’t bring them in a big basket as it looks like you are doing business. However, you can carry jugs behind you or in front of you. The same is true with straw.

Regular piles of straw can be used on Yom Tov and are not considered muktza as they are normally used for people. However, wood in back of a house which is not necessarily used by people [the backs of houses were rarely used] and is sometimes sold is considered muktza.
