Yuma 3:8
The cohein would then come to his own ox that was standing between the Ulam
and the mizbaiach with it’s head toward the south and it’s face facing the
west. The cohein would stand to the east, facing the west, place his hands on
the animal, and confess his sins.
This is what he said, ‘ I plead to you Hashem; aveesi [I have transgressed
on purpose], pashati [I have transgressed with intent to denounce ], and chatasi
[I have transgressed unintentionally] before you, both I and my household. I
plead from you Hashem to forgive the avonos, pishaim, and chataim that I have
committed before you, both I and my household, as it says in the Torah of Moshe
your servant, I will atone for you on this day.’ The people answer ‘Baruch
shem kivode malchuso liolum vaed.’ [Blessed be your kingship forever.]
