Yuma 4:2

The Cohein Gadol tied a piece of red wool on the he-goat that was to be sent lazazel and faced it toward the azazel direction. He also tied red wool on the he-goat that was to be slaughtered and brought it to the place where it would be slaughtered. He then came to his second ox, spread both hands over it, and confessed his sins. This is what he said; ‘I plead to you Hashem, aveesi, pashati, and chatasi before you, I, my household, and the sons of Aharon your holy nation. I plead from you Hashem to forgive the avonos, pishaim, and chataim that I have committed, I and my household and the sons of Aharon your holy nation, as it says in the Torah of Moshe your servant, "I will atone for you on this day".’ The people answer, ‘Baruch shem kivod malchuso liolum vaed’.

Yuma 4:3

He slaughtered his first ox and accepted the blood in a utensil. He then gave the blood to someone who would continue to stir it on the fourth row of stones from the kodesh, so it should not coagulate. He took a shovel, went up to the outside mizbeach, pushed aside the outer coals, took some of the hot inner coals, and brought them to the fourth row of stones in the courtyard.
