Yuma 4:4

On a normal day he would take the coals in a silver shovel and put it on a gold shovel, today on Yom Kippur he takes it in a gold shovel and leaves it there. Normally he would take a four kavin shovel and pour it into a three kavin shovel, on Yom Kippur he only used a three kavin shovel. Reb Yossi says normally he used a saah shovel and poured it into a three kavin shovel, but on Yom Kippur he only used a three kavin shovel. Normally the shovel was heavy, on Yom Kippur it was a light shovel. Normally the handle was short, on Yom Kippur it was long. Reb Menachem says normally yellow gold was used and on Yom Kippur red gold was used. Normally a half a maana of kitores was brought in the morning and half a maana in the evening, but on Yom Kippur he added two handfuls. Normally the kitores was ground fine, on Yom Kippur it was very fine.

Reb Yehuda says the Cohein Gadol always did this. Normally the cohein would wash his hands and feet from the kiyor, on Yom Kippur there was a special utensil for this purpose. Reb Yehuda says he always used a special utensil.
