Chagiga 1:6
A person who didn’t bring his korban chagiga on the first day of Yom Tov,
can bring it the whole Yom Tov.
If during the whole Yom Tov he did not bring the korban chagiga, he is not
responsible to make it up.
Chagiga 1:7
R’ Shimon ben Manasya says the posuk, ‘a twisted thing that cannot be
made straight’, is referring to a person who lives with an erva and had a
child which is a mamzer whereas if a person stole something it can be fixed by
giving back the money.
R’ Shimon ben Yochai says twisted means it was once straight and in the
previous case it was always no good. Rather, he explains, the posuk is referring
to a Talmud Chacham that went bad.
