Parshas Naso
It says in the posuk ‘ko svarachu es bnei yisrael amor lahem’ so should bless the Bnei Yisrael say to them. Rashi explains the lashon of amor lahem is to tell us that the cohanim should bless Bnei Yisrael a full heart to give the brachos. What is this extra intent?
The Ksav Sofer says that when the cohanim bless the people really they are blessing themselves. The more the field grows the more trumah the cohanim will get. So the torah says do not think for your own benefit rather for the benefit of others.
