Parshas Shemini

In this weeks parsha, Moshe Rabeinu became angry with Aharon and his children. He saw them burning certain karbanos and thought that they should have been eaten. When he got angry he said, ‘Maybe you had a reason for burning it?’ Moshe Rabeinu was very controlled in his anger and attempted to dissolve it by finding extenuating circumstances. We see how much the Torah is concerned about the slightest type of anger. You would think anger that the Torah would write down for all generations would be a major anger that lashes out in all directions but in this instance Moshe Rabeinu maintained complete control. We see how even a small anger, in its less volatile form, is not tolerated in the Torah.
