Parshas Tzav
The karban shelamim is eaten for two days and a night. A karban todah, even though
it is a type of shelamim, can only be eaten for one day and night. The netziv says the
reason for this is that you will have to invite other people in order to finish in time.
They will see that you are thanking the lord for the good occasion and the name of Hashem
will be exalted. What a great way of fostering kavod shamayim.
